just read some more news about sony's pre-unveiling hype for killzone 2.

aside from devoting 2 1/2 hours to its unveiling, which will immediately follow microsoft's e3 conference, they're setting up some special transports.

i've never seen sony this confident.

and now someone close to the project is saying that it exceeds the trailer.

WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

it's obvious that sony has something special to show us.

if it even MEETS that trailer, who here WOULDN'T spend $600 for the system?

considering what sony is doing, it's pretty obvious they have a surprise for everyone.

i loved the ps2 because all the best games came to it. now all the best games are coming to the 360, which is why you also own one, futami. that the 360 happens to be superior hardware for a lower price only sweetens the deal!

360's been out longer.

more games are coming to the ps3 than the 360.

more games in development for the system than the 360.

more jap rpgs in development for the ps3 than the 360.

no games on the 360 look as good as:

uncharted

lair

heavenly sword

gt:hd

so, the idea that the 360 is superior hardware reeks of falsehood.

I don't understand why people are so hostile towards consoles getting more expensive, generally speaking it's simply the cost of R&D that is getting more ambitious and higher for every manufacturer

consoles must now feature functions that only PCs could do in the past

what is there to be hostile about? i feel that i would not get my money's worth with a $5-600 PS3, and this magical game to be revealed will certainly not change that.

i felt i got my money's worth with the 1400 TV i recently bought, and i still feel i got my money's worth for the $200 (after walmart credit) i paid for my 360 to this day.

I still play KZ and really appreciate it - I love the way the Helgast troops shout, and the elites in the later levels....I also like using the chikk with the silenced mech gun and night vision goggles to do stealth kills....

fact of the matter is, objectively, the ps3 has more games in development for it than any other console.

it stands to reason that many of those games are next-gen installments in series that flourished on the ps2.

it's not a feeling, so much as it's common sense.

most of those games never appeared on the 360, primarily because of the base that microsoft targeted.

we've seen no indication that the demo for the system has drastically changed.

also, i own a 360 because i had a chance to buy it cheap ($200); i intend to purchase a ps3 once heavenly sword and uncharted are available.

what, just because NG has a high return rate, that would mean that people do not want PS3 software... right...

You only have to look at the games that are bombing on the PS3 - it has to be a worry that NG Sigma sold worse than Saints Row X360 in Japan... (and looks to be the most easily available second hand game in Aki - suggesting that not only were sales poor, but the Japanese -did not want-)

That's actually really sad... Saint's Row shouldn't be selling, anywhere...
