How come most the hardened Sony fans haven`t bought a PS3 yet?

When their company really needs that cash , where are these people?

Even Fu has failed them - i`m shocked. Any real fan would be putting the cash down to help them out.

All this taking about how great the PS3 is without putting down the cash right now when they need it sounds like empty pillow talk to me.

I have about 70 ps2 games and about 30-40 psx games.

I wonder why I don't want a ps3 currently.

Buying a 360 and not a PS3 yet doesn't mean that you want Sony to fail or you aren't a fan. It just means that you're hoping for a price drop before the really good games come out later this year.

PS3 has really good games this year?

It's not so much that I want Sony to fail. I love Sony consoles and games obviously, it's just that...damn. I'm not paying 600 dollars for a console, and ps3 screams "me too" and "rip off" of many things, but applied half assed. Not cool.

I own one, aside from MLB 07 I dont use it for PS3 games. Upscaling PS2 games is prettynice tho.

being a sony fan doesn't equal being a distinguished mentally-challenged fellow. most people aren't going to spend 600 usd for a system with no games.

just because nintendo fans would buy shit if miyamoto told them to doesn't mean everyone else would do the same.

If you're into that kind of console gaming, there's stuff like heavenly sword and Uncharted and what not I think. I don't follow the games very much, I went pureblood PC ages ago and can't really go back. Too old, too used to PC game sophistication.

Uncharted looks great, but Heavenly Sword, from what I've seen is nothing more than style over substance. Maybe I'm wrong though.

You're not, but there are plenty of people who don't mind style over substance as long as it's really stylish. Certainly HS, if anything, is that.

I don't understand the hype behind Heavenly Sword. At least Uncharted is from a dev with a pretty decent back catalogue... Heavenly Sword was from the makers of Kung Fu Chaos for chrissakes... but I guess when you're a PS3 fanboy you need to take what you can get. Sony fans remind me so much of Nintendo fans in the days of the N64 - except at least the N64 was relatively inexpensive.

I dunno. N64 had some good games that were exclusive. I'd liken them more to the Gamecube supporters.

I have a GC and think it had a decent run. Of course I also have a PS2 which I own more games for. If GC had been my sole system for last gen I'd probably not speak so favorably of it. I guess so far this round I am only in the NEW gen and not the next gen since all I own is a Wii. (Filthy poor!)

Haha, I could go for some HD Power Pro Baseball, too.

Last year's Power Pro Major League on the PS2 still sees a lot of play time. Such an awesome game.

Power Pro MLB was hilariously awesome. It made me wish I knew more Japanese so I could enjoy more than just the exhibition mode.
