Bungie weekly update. That picture above is EXACTLY the same as the model that was shown at E3 except it has a more metallic texture. One of the testers took that screen in-game by detaching the camera and taking a picture in the singleplayer game but he positioned the camera so there wouldn't be anything to revealing.

Stinkles at GAF said that you can take singleplayer pics here so that hints at a photomode.

There'll be a free theme and gamerpics only tomorrow for halo 3.

Blastacular map pack will be free.

It goes by west coast time and will be up at 2:00 A.M. which is about 5 hours from now.

Technically, it looks great. Artistically, its the same generic Halo look that has been around since the first game. I enjoy the gameplay in the series, but they have some of the most boring/least inspired art design ever.

I disagree, as far the bald space marines genre goes, Halo has the best art. Especially when taking into account the enemies and the world. Hell, watch the Halo Wars trailer and tell me that the covenant art design sucks. If you do, Lost or not, our e-friendship will end, mister.

I still think Halo 1 holds it's ground considering it was a launch title from over 5 years ago.

The gamerpics consist of a quick-drawn kiddy Chief (awesome), a picture of the composer in like the 80s, and a few other emblems. Don't know what the emblems are from.

The theme is really cool, I'm using it now.
