Since baseball season is officially over, and Football is right around the corner, you guys need somewhere to splooge about your teams new additions, and attempt to create new words for Mel Kiper to use next NFL Draft (Texans won this year, "signability" for the win).

Predictions not need apply, as that will be posted and saved in a pre-Week 1 thread in which I will have everyone make their predictions on the season. Closest to the correct predictions at the end of the year may get a Texans plush football. (assuming they pay for shipping and handling!)

I am cautiously hopeful for the Ravens this year. McNair is the best QB they've had since their creation IMO, though of course his durability is a question. J. Lewis has only done a light workout so far, but apparently he looks much better than he did last year. Yeah prison might have something to do with that. Mike Anderson as a backup for J. Lewis or even a starter if Lewis goes out isn't a bad deal... we already had a good set of WR's now we have a QB that can get the ball to them. Special Teams and the D seem to have been upgraded nicely... the only big question so far... is the O line.... one rookie signing, a good one, but one who has questionable effort(they say he use to take downs off). This would be the wrong team for him to do that on, his teammates would pull him up in a heart beat.

So yeah.. cautiously optimistic..

The Raiders have hope in that Aaron Brooks might be replaced mid-season. There have been lots of shakeups in the starting lineup (especially on the defensive side) and they seem to make sense..'cept Walker at DE.

Art Shell rules! I think he'll make the line work this year, but hopefully Brooks can turn into a thinking man's pocket QB...or is replaced by Walter (the latter being the more probable one ;b).

The Bears could suck again. That is always a possibility. But that doesn't change the face that the Packers will finish 8-8 at best. I'm guessing 6-10.

Man, that Chang dude is horrible. I know he's 4th string...and I know he's young, but damn...

Irons, Washington, and even Janikowski looked good. Forcing 5 turnovers would be something to talk about if it wasn't against the depthless Eagles. Brooks looked awful. Walters looked subpar. Tuiasosopo looked...like Tuiasosopo...

Oh well, at least Janikowski might be getting back to form.

That game was almost as boring as the NO/NJ game last season.
