Specifically how Jurassic Park, a movie made in the early '90s, looks better than pretty much all of the movies coming out now in 2007. CG is being used in places of where puppetry, makeup, and crafty cinematography would be more convincing and appropriate. Movies are becoming more and more like cartoons. Less gritty. Aliens, Jurassic Park, Terminator 2. All of them look more convincing than say... Spiderman 3.

I think CG is on the cuff of replacing animatronics and other puppetry (as far as actually looking real and blending in with live action). Its taken this long but we're almost there!

that is really sad.

the only thing cool about the king kong movie dinosaurs were the animations. the blue screen effect was HORRIFIC
