While I agree its kinda easy to get a persons IP through various means on the internet, im not sure if people who post on a forum should have to consider the moderators of said forums as a source of their IP address.

I dont know the whole story, but I certainly dont support sharing this kind of information outside of the administrative body.

that's why you use fast web proxies when posting on forums all the time, you never know when you're going to be a victim to a nosy person with a special access, even if the person means well somehow (which is highly probable)

I never give my real IPs to forums anymore and use fast proxies for every connection and post (it's super easy to get such web services for free), so no one can tell the place I'm posting from and the ISP that is used

Theres lots of sites on the net that allow for reverse Cell phone checkups and other background checks with just Cell phone numbers. I doubt it was your IP, I think it was the whole fiasco with you and Stocky (your actual number was posted wasn't it?)
