nicca is much more versatile.  You can use it with people you like.  A slut can also yell "fuck me, nicca!"  A gangsta can bust a cap and shout out "die, nicca!"  My favorite example is when I heard a Hispanic kid said to his black friend in an Oakland fast food restaurant,  "you can't get eggs to go, nicca." In that context, nicca could have meant friend, idiot, or both.
