What sort of tourist would go to Gaza!?  It's poorer/more dangerous than the West Bank, and if you did go, the main attraction is apparently some clan that enforces its own security, and stole a lion, which you can pose with.

It is too late for me to get my head around this story.

Yeah, I wish Christianity had specific rules regarding treatment of animals like Islam does. 

You'd think Christians would be able to follow their own moral compass a bit, and figure out on their own that animal cruelty (factory farming, etc.) is fucked up, but I guess they need it spelled out.   

Ideally we wouldn't need religion, but there are just so many followers already.  The Vatican should make up some rules.  It'd be a start.
