GTA's humor is ohhhh so clever... I mean come on, an Internet cafe named "Tw@"... the absolute pinnacle of satire and humor. I would take "I NEED SCISSORS! 83!" over GTA any day of the week, and both MGS1 and 3 had decent storylines (it's just 2 that got real absurd with the story and the abundance of cutscenes, which I think is where many complaints about the series stem from, MGS3 is actually pretty heavy on gameplay and light on story, but it has that annoying recovery system, which keeps it from being my favorite. MGS1 is the best.)
