This holiday season is set to destroy my wallet, utterly. Anyone who says gaming isnt as good as it used to be has heads up butts. From the looks of it the 360 crowd will have a lot to look forward to on the 7th November. Between now and then they have Crackdown and PSU. PSU is more than enough to hold off an entire season IMO

PS2 crowd is STILL being lamblasted with quality gaming. Its really amazing how well the console is still doing, I am sure the PS3 will have a rough first year, but the PS2 is still so much $$$ for Sony.

The portables are looking pretty good with DS in the lead for some solid titles this winter. PSP sorta blew its load last spring/summer IMO, so there isn't a lot left to pick up at this point before the near year.

Between the Wii, PS3, games for both of those systems, FF XII and all the 360 games coming out I'm going to be really broke this Holiday season.

god I don't know when the last time I got a game was =\ I think the last time I purchased a console game was Viewtiful Joe...or Smackdown vs Raw 2006, but my brother got that so it doesn't really count.  I purchased Viewtiful Joe so :p

I rented RE4, meh renting ftw 7.50 plus I don't really play games when I'm finished.

I buy all my games from my local independent game shop, fuck EB, fuck Wal Mart...but I buy all my game hardware from Best Buy or Costco.

I go to gamecrazy, and honestly WalMart prices ARENT that good, I get better DVD deals from Fred Meyer and Best Buy, and for games I generally save money at gamecrazy.

People satisfied with the Wal Mart shopping experience are just part of the horde.

We have an independent game shop back home, I actually knew the owners before they built the thing.  It's a great place that I give my business when I can.  The best part was I remember the MADHOUSE every videogame store in the world was when Halo 2 came out, but I drove there at 9 PM the night before and it was just me and another guy picking up our copies.  I could hear nerds crying in the distance.
