eh, it's cool, but I don't get all the "omfg!" about it  i mean, it's something i'll definitely get when i get another ps3, but it's not making me cream my pants

Although I believe that a PS3's power is below the level of a mid end gaming PC, I have to say that the PS3 is a much better deal.  A blu-ray drive alone costs $500.  Even if you don't give a crap about blu-ray movies, it would cost more than $500 to have a PC that will play games like Marvel:Ultimate Alliance, NFS:Carbon, R6:Vegas, etc better than a PS3.
