eh, The Nightmare Before Christmas was much better than that Corpse Bride movie

there isn't much to be said about Phantom, it's a film version of the stage show... it's good, I liked it... it's mostly a chick flick, probably a good movie to watch when surrounded by women... the guy who acted the Phantom's role was especially good

however I didn't like all the disturbing scenes with big zooms on "Raoul"'s face... Schumacher clearly made them that way because he's gay... thankfully there was no bare butt scene this time like in Batman at least...

seriously, how the hell can you guys STILL watch DVDs on HDTVs and spend thousands of dollars on these discs every year? DVDs are entirely worthless now! these were never meant to be seen on anything else than a CRT screen :lol

it's amazing how Blu adds to the viewing experience, it makes cheesy movies believable all over again, it even makes most of Hollywood's crap somewhat tolerable

The Departed was great, but I don't think I could watch it multiple times, so I didn't buy the blu-ray.  I think on my next trip back home, I'm going to load up on blu-ray movies.  They ain't got SHIT in Japan.

I only buy the movies I like to rewatch.  SHOCKING  :o

There's also no netflix where I live.
