Cheebs was banned for two days after he decided to share his account with The Miles Trahan Burger Experiment. He began pleading that he had seen the error of his ways online and had a few distinguished posters personally come to his defense (well, one), so I reinstated all his privileges after his ban ended as long as he locked out the other user by at least altering his account password. Well, he didn't and The Miles Trahan Burger Experiment began using his account the other night, so Cheebs is now permanently banned.

He sacrificed himself to murder the evil BK beast.

Account sharing is a permaban-worthy offense. And he was given ample warning and leniency in this matter due to his tenure, but in the end, he failed his word and he has to pay the consequences. This goes for pretty much anybody.

Cheebs, Phoenix Dark and The Dark Shake were responsible for roughly 66% of our traffic and posts. I can say that having that traffic spread out amongst other posters has made this place far more tolerable for most people. Out of those three, Cheebs is the best poster, but he made a dumb decision.

It actually is in the Terms of Service as a third strike policy, where the offender gets a twenty-four hour ban, a twenty-one day ban and then a permanent ban. Considering the posters in question, in addition that I do not like being lied to, I circumvented the second strike and went for the permanent ban. Cheebs and Phoenix Dark have been planning "stunts" for too long and Cheebs' teenage lame pranks are just detrimental to the community.

I dunno, I think it's unfair to only ban viz for 2 months and turf cheebs permanently. Besides which, we need our lepers to kick around.

Phoenix Dark is not gone.

And Viz not only was banned for two months, but removed from admin duty. That's a harsh punishment in of itself. The other thing that was deliberating in Viz's punishment was how he helped the community; the work he did behind-the-scenes and for the front page was constructive to the community over all. Other than this, and his dumb incident in the gaming forum, he's been an outstanding member.

I like Cheebs, but JESUS, yes. I hated his pranks. Most of them consisted of him PM'ing you and telling you "Don't tell you I told you so, but so-and-so said this about you." Then he would tell so-and-so "I told Ichirou [or Mupepe, or the BK beast] what you said, lol, but he doesn't know you know."

Sounds like BS to me. There are posters that have behaved far worse than Cheebs and they're not banned. I don't see how sharing an account is worse than people making death threats or TVC posting disgusting stuff. Cheebs will be back.
