I was kinda hoping the new PSP revision would sort of have a clamshell design like the SP...you open it up and the top half is the screen, and the bottom half has all the buttons.  They could've cut the system's size in half by doing that.  It may just not have been technically feasible...but most likely I think they wanted to keep the PSP's shape intact for marketing purposes.

I was hoping for an analog stick with a more traditional motion than sliding.  A more responsive dpad would be good too although it's not as important to me.  BTW, why do you have a PSP?  Didn't you just recently create a thread about how the PSP is garbage?

The PSP is garbage, but I didn't create a PSP hate thread.  I created a Sony hate thread that got derailed on the whole PSP thing.

I believe superior games come to the Nintendo DS...

ala Orcs&Elves if you catch my drift.

Super Robot Taisen OG 1&2, Zone of the Enders Fist of Mars, Final Fantasy V Advance, and Tales of Phantasia are what I have been playing lately (and already finished over half of those). :bow GBA :bow

All I care about is the D-Pad. If I can play Tekken Dark Resurrection the way God intended without stick on shit or opening up the PSP and modding the controls (and voiding the warranty), then I'm sold.  :-*

ttp from gaf has confirmed that the screen ghosts much less than the old model -- he compared them head to head. and various USELESS PRESS OUTLETS have said that the d pad is better. i'm buying the redesign now. and devoting my old psp to homebrew

It's pretty much the same. So it has video out. When I was doing my review of Lumines (ANN-style) I bought a video out thing for psp on EBay for $20. It came with a speaker dock, a case, and umd cases for that price.

Note: I still need to get off my ass and get a fog machine to complete said review.
