DiRT is pretty, but I got pretty tired of it half way through... still better than Forza though.

Thats kinda the nature of a car race, do you want them to collect fruit or something? Not everyone likes burnout either.

I'm just saying no one complains about racing in the same circles for 25 years, but they complain about shooting the same nazis

Yes but shooting Nazis in no way resembles a regulated sport....but maybe it should ;)

and the framerate in DiRT 360 WAS extremely awful as soon as many racers joined you on the track, nice to see that it's locked this time

but apparently it's not locked, and slows down WORSE than the 360 version with more than 3 cars onscreen :'(

and mana knight, how does the ps3 version have the edge in detail when it has LESS geometry than the 360 version

ps3 hardware fails to deliver again :'(

I can confirm this.  Even in the PS3 demo alone, there's already slow down.  I have no idea where people get this "locked" framerate bullshit unless you're talking about a locked 20fps.  With regards to detail, the 360 seems to have better contrast and lighting, but I don't have enough time to check out details like which one has more geometry.  What's all this bullshit about how muted HDR is better?  I didn't see Sony fans complain about Heavenly Sword having super obvious HDR.   Seriously, both look really good and it is tough to tell the two versions aprart.  So which version won?  PC, of course.  1080P w/4x anti-aliasing, 60fps on a 8800 GTX owns both console versions combined.  lol

Mana Knight has far less credibility than Mondain.  He got booted off GAF for being nuts enough to report EB to Sony when EB had a trade PSP for DS deal.
