I swear it works. Put ice in warm drink, stir for a minute and its cool.

I use to do that with hot Lipton Soup. If it was too hot, put a cube or two of ice, would cool it down quickly.

If you don't like ice in your soda, another trick is to spin the upright can or bottle around in a container of ice for about twenty seconds.  You'd be surprised how cool it gets.
