This movie is apparently sort of a cult favorite in military circles.  One of those bizarre flicks that could only come out of the '80s.

It's about an America in an alternate reality/future where it's been taken over by the Soviets, and about rebels fighting against the REDS for FREEEEEDOOOOM.  Like I said, something that could only have appeared in the eighties.  Fun and cheesy, very jingoistic.

Wow I saw this at Wal-mart earlier. I should've bought it but I didn't know it just came out today. I have the regular edition.
