What was the final verdict on Puzzle Quest?

I just got it from Gamefly. I remember people saying that the game gets nigh unbeatable near the end due to the AI pulling off incredible combos and shit - is it something that you can eventually beat or did you just give up in frustration?

I don't even want to play it if I'm just going to get hosed once I'm all into it.

Back when I had a DS I played it a bit....it was decent but I dont think id go to the bother to buy it again since I sold my DS.

Actually, you gots it backwards corny.  It's really easy towards the end--it's towards the beginning where the annoyances exist.  But it gets really buggy then.

Overall, a really good game.  I wish I could tell you to hold off for the XBLA version, but this is a great portable game.

It's just a rental, so if I dig it I'll totally get the XBLA port 'cause I'm a total XBLA whore.
