Most awesome picture ever.

coon chicken inn.

was an actual restaurant in seattle, salt lake city, and portland that served southern foods.  The entrance was through the mouth of a black man.

have a nice smoke on some niggerhair after there.

in addition to those, the gold dust twins washing powder, darkie toothpaste, and sambo name brand were all actually used on products.  These are modern day re-imaginings of the brands filmed for a movie.

Reminds me of "Ghost World". Should have had a NSFW warning though... a few black people work in my office and I wouldn't want them seeing this.

It's funny in a sad, disgusting sort of way. Like "Holy shit I can't believe people used to actually do this crap, society is doomed."

Yeah it's an extreme example of racism but I saw this in a mockumentary (the commercial for it in the youtube link is from the movie) and when they said at the end that pretty much all of their product advertisements were real I was a bit surprised.

I don't think it would need a NSFW tag because you have to stare for a few seconds to get what it is.

Still, it's COON CHICKEN INN.  That's amazing.  Not good, just amazing.
