Metal Gear Portable Ops Plus Unveiled

This game will NOT be storyline-based.  It's an expansion to Portable Ops with more multiplayer options and characters available.  There will be some kind of single player mode added as you can see from the pics.  It's likely going to throw in characters and scenarios from all the Metal Gear games together for some fun VR Mission-style levels.

Comes out this fall for 2400 yen (around $20)...I guess we are getting a "new" Metal Gear this year after all.  And we'll be able to play it on TV with the new PSP.

So a week after E3, Japanese developers start revealing new games.  Disgaea 3 got announced.  There's a Final Fantasy Crisis Core PSP bundle coming.  More stuff is getting announced.  E3 really does mean jack shit now.  L-O-L-Z.

Should come out in English around the same time.  The U.S. got Portable Ops first.

I havent even opened my copy of MGS Portable Ops....

since i didn't have a psp i just read the story of portops on gamefaqs and it was pretty good.  they connected a lot of stuff and tied up some loose ends, but unfortunately a couple elements in the story were clearly contrived.  i would really like to be working with kojima on his writing.  i'm sure i could take this series to new heights of awesome.

Kojima didn't do the writing on PO I don't think. Someone else did.

Still awesome game, one of the best experiences on PSP hands down. I wish there was more to the unit management mechanic but whatever. This is the kind of game that makes owning a PSP worth while.
