Did anyone like Viva La Bam?

I had never seen this show before, but I recently watched it on DVD. Sometimes it was funny, but it was so obviously scripted. Lame.

I genuinely like the guys from Jackass, but not Bam. He can rot in hell for all I care, spoiled rotten asshole.

I get a kick out of Wildboys. Anything with Bam in it disgusts me.

The show irritates me because Bam is such a jerk to his parents.  I would pay money and gross amounts of it, to see a MTV special where Bam's parents mutilate and torture him Hostel-style for weeks and weeks before they piss on his dead corpse and light it on fire.

He's a jerk to his parents, and he's just a spoiled rotten brat who does whatever he wants cause "he's cool" and all his slacker friends mooch off of him, continually stroking his ego.

You need to see the end of Jackass 2. The other guys kind of torture Bam.

That's the other thing I hate about it - he can dish it, but he sure can't take it.  Anytime anyone attempts to humiliate him, he gets enraged and goes way beyond the boundaries of what is pretty much acceptable in these dumb Jackass-style homo erotic pranks.  The only episode I saw that was really enjoyable was when Johnny Knoxville showed up and kept one-upping him throughout the show.  Bam looked like he was on the edge of tears.
