To me the thing that was bad about the middle was that it exposed just flat and boring Harry, Hermione, and Ron are. I think it's no coincidence that the best parts of the book are when they're with all the others.

Yeah, I agree to a certain extent. That was definitely the weakest part of the book, and I really started wishing other people would show up. Before the book came out I really thought Lupin would journey with them and be Harry's mentor like Sirius/Dumbledore had been. Instead he...

Told you it would get epic. There's a point in the book where everything just starts clicking, and after that there's no looking back. The action was truly amazing, and there was so much variation. Who would have expected Metal Gear Potter :lol

And yes, Neville was the ultimate badass. After I first finished OOTP it became clear to me that Neville was going to evolve into a beast. He fought off Death Eaters in three consecutive books alongside Harry, Ron, and Hermonie. And of course Luna was right behind him :heartbeat

I kept tearing up as the book started to wrap up. There were times when I almost wanted to put the book down and laugh/cry.

When Harry lept to life during the final battle and people started yelling out "Harry! There's Harry! He's alive!" I started crying on the spot. It reminded me so much of Aslan's return in the Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe

Oh, shutup Willco you pretentious piece of shit. Books are supposed to grab the reader, bringing them into a different world and making them feel a part of it. If you've never felt like that when reading a book , then you are either reading the wrong books or you are heartless scum.

Just read the book

spoiler (click to show/hide)
I donīt like Albus anymore.  The old man didnīt really care about the boy....he was only keeping him alive as a sacrifice.  In Snapeīs memory, Snape told him he was only a little kid and that Albus used him all this time and Albus answered something like "oh snape, you have seen many people die anyway", fucking old bastard.  I suppose his way of thinking, "for the greater good", never really changed in his life, he just changed the focus.  He was still a manipulative and secretive bastard..

Oh Snape...I actually expected that he was in love with Lily.  I was so happy when that turned out truth.  Snape is the best character in the series, by far.

That was one of the best things about the book. It flipped how you percieved many characters. I thought that was a great thing.

But if you were in Albus' situation, would you really do anything different? Plus, he gave Harry the resurrection stone for a reason. He didn't want Harry to sacrifice himself.

I agree about Snape being the best character in the series.

The resurrection stone doesnīt revive the owner and I think the old man knew that.
