Don't get the silver.  I've seen it in person when I was in Japan.  It's not shiny like other silver electronics.  In fact, the silver PSP looks pretty cheap.

i think you guys might be surprised at the amount of girls that have psps here in japan.

point is it's marketted to chicks here as being fashionable so those colors don't surprise me at all.  chicks get a psp, one game, and hardly use it.  they get caught up in the "have to buy it now it's so sleek" moment and that's all sony needs for a sale or two.
