I turn off the battle animations after the first few hours anyway.  I hate that they play out even when a character misses.

yes a port of the PS2 game called Super Robot Wars MX, features robots from different animu mecha series. like gundam, Mazinger, Daimos etc.. etc...

I heard the load times are pretty atrocious tho.

oh and hell yeah at the animations from OG2, crazy the gba can pull that off. the Type 3 Colossal Blade move looks amazing.

I like the ULTIMATE SUPER ROBOT S! R! X!  Even though you have to combine three mechs just to get one.

In SRT Original Gangstas 2, one of the mechs turns into a huge-ass gun and the SRX wields it and Ryusei is all "FEEL THE FURY OF THE H! T! B! CANNON!"  If you use valor it can do over 35k worth of damage, omg...

PSP Super Robot Wars MX sort of sucks, though...the PS2 version has nicer graphics and less loading.

EDIT: A new Super Robot Wars just came out for DS like a month ago, too.
