Getting new glasses tomorow, need sugestions on styles.

So after five years I'm finally getting a new pair of glasses, but the problem is I don't think I've ever seen glasses that look good on a guy with a beard, sorry malek, lol.  For sunglasses I wear like a 70's style larger but big glasses for real glasses would look distinguished mentally-challenged.  Anyways give me suggestions.

You'll know best when youre trying them on but don't be afraid to try something different. When I tried on what im wearing these days for the first time I was like errrr I dunno, but ive actually received compliments about the frames. They dont make them anymore tho..not exactly, so I must treat them with CARE.

Anyway keep in mind that depending on your vision, smaller frames will force the use of smaller lenses which are generally thicker. However, technology these days pretty much lets you put some pretty powerful lenses into a thin small form. This usually costs extra. The pair im wearing right now cost me 500 cash a few years ago, but it was worth it to get the lenses thinned.

My eye sight isn't to bad, I think, - 2.5 and - 2.25 but my contacts have made my eyes deteriorated quite a bit the last year but hopefully i can avode thick glasses.

my eyes are way worse than that and I got thin lenses.

It was mainly the lenses that cost so much.  My eyes are horrific.

One thing I'll suggest is make sure the frames stay on your nose. I forgot to check this on my most recent pair and I have to deal with the slipping off any time I look down.

I wear contacts now but I wear glasses at night when I'm about to go to sleep. I would hate it if I had some sort of impairment that didn't allow me to wear contacts because I hate wearing glasses now.
