Well, I got it the other day, so I'll try and post some quickie impressions.
I turned it on - first I had to update my firmware to 1.90 - so that took about 20 minutes. My screen blanked out so I kinda freaked because I thought I just broke my $600 investment to go along with my $1400 investment. That's like 3 car payments or something.
Then my entire network was screwed up beyond recognition, so add another 45 minutes or so to reconfigure my routing table so I could at least sign onto AIM and relay messages about my upcoming impressions to some people. I then had a sudden urge to fire up a couple quick games of Super Stardust HD, that quickly turned into an hour down the drain as I got sidetracked. It really is a fun game.
BUT
I finally popped in the game, and I saw the title screen. It looked very nice, lots of japanglish.
I did a quick round, played like every other golf game out there, it was so cute and quirky.
It's ok.
