It was pretty much downhill for Nintendo systems after this.  I will contend with a straight face that there wasn't a better game than this on any subsequent Nintendo consoles.

vNES was and any other online emulators were a godsend in class.

Shame Guardian Legend wasn't any good

guardian legend is easily my favorite nes game, followed by battle of olympus :bow :bow :bow

i shall use this to play dragon warrior iv on really boring days

Battle of Olympus >>>>> Zelda 2, Guardian Legend kicks ass too, it's a shame we never saw a sequel. Guardian Legend is pretty much impossible to play on a regular NES without a turbo controller tho.

My thumb hurts by the time I beat the second shooting stage :P

every time I critized Zelda TP for the ass that it was at gaf I always got this responce but differently:

"Zelda isn't about the music"

"Zelda isn't about story line..."

"Zelda isn't about fighting gameplay"

I just made it to the 3rd dungeon in Seasons and I'm really liking it so far... reminds me a lot of the original Zelda, and I've died more times in the game so far than in every single 3D Zelda put together (which was like... twice in the volcano stage in TP).
