I am pretty sure it'll go okay, because I don't think her folks are rude enough to say anything truly derogatory and demeaning save for maybe, "HAY-WRO WHITE BOI!"

It'll be all smiles and cupcakes, I'll bring a present or two and everyone will tolerate each other for a few hours. I'll shall retreat into the night, which when then give her folks the greenlight to spew forth a laundry list of things they don't like about me that Crystal has been bracing herself for since we met.

I think more or less, she'll use this opportunity to parade me around to her sibilings, because I'm the first non-jerk boyfriend she's had!

If you think that meeting the parents is bad when you're a white guy dating an Asian girl, boy do I have some stories to tell you about being a white girl and dating Asian guys.

ESPECIALLY if the guy is the first born... oh my God... you are so fucked.

Usually Asian families can open up to the idea of their daughter dating a white guy, but when it comes to their sons it is a totally different ballgame. The sons carry on the family name/legacy afterall. One guy I was with... on his birthday his mom actually invited his ex-girlfriend over.

I've also been told in no uncertain terms before that my family was "below" the guy's family, so he couldn't date me. This being back when my dad owned most real estate around here... they were actually tenants of ours. My family wasn't "worthy" though!
