I watched the first season, and found it to be the definition of all dressed up with nowhere to go. Untouchable production combined with an unengaging narrative along with some of the most distinguished mentally-challenged dialogue to ever hit the waves. And I heard the dialogue gets even worse in season 2.

I kind of like the idea of Profit. Since it was fairly short, we have a definite end to work towards; one that isn't eons away.

It's been a long time since I watched it (before 2.5 started airing), but I find a naturalist bent on science fiction to be somewhat boring, and the whole drawing parallels to 9/11 and post-9/11 just made my eyes roll a lot.

Californication looks pretty standard for premium-cable stuff: wacky dysfunctional family and a really obvious excuse to do all the things they couldn't get away with on network TV.

Duchovny's a writer, who 1) can't write a second book, 2) had his first one ("God Hates Us") turned into a lame romantic comedy, 3) wants to get back together with his ex, who's remarrying, 4) has a Quirky Deadpan Daughter like out of a Wes Anderson movie, and 5) has lots and lots of sex.

The preview made it look like there's going to be more nookie in this than in The Tudors, which is saying something.

And he schtups a nun. EDGY TABOO BREAKING!

To be honest, I just started watching the series. I'm like five episodes in and that scene with Unterbheit at the table with Girl Hitler and Catclops was hysterical. That said - I immediately changed my choice to Mr. Brisby!
