:(

I blame the appalling taste of Shake, Willco, and PD.

I typically excise the artsier stuff when I do lists.  If I recommended Blowup, people would bitch that there wasn't a whole lot of blowing up in the movie.

I think the only totally foreign film on the last real top 10 I did was Alphaville, and I recommend that on the basis of it being a science fiction movie that was a giant influence on both 2001 and Blade Runner.  And because scifi + Godard = weirdness.

I heard this on the Last of the International Morning Shows this morning and was going to make a thread:

"TVC, stop sexualizing my favorite directors before you kill again"

They always Come in Threes (kind of like my girlfriend) so who's going to be next?

There's a lot of underage Brit tit, however!

I dunno if Blow-Up is one of my favorite movies, but it's certainly stuck in my mind. It has one of my favorite endings. I think I'd enjoy it more on a rewatch.

You know, I bet tomorrow it will be a Frenchie.  The New Wave directors have to be in their 70s-90s, right?

Yeah, Godard seems a good bet. He's 77, and Bergman and Antonioni have PAVED THE WAY.

Why can't it be someone like Spielbergo?

That guy looks like a Harry Knowles if Harry Knowles was an old sea captain.

It's like FATE does not want me to watch Almodovar movies.  The Heartless Bitch will kill an uber-director every night to keep me from Pedro!
