I wouldn't say "appaling" by today's standards but I expected a LOT more when I saw it a few years ago. Carl Cox's cameo in HT was the highlight for me :P Some classic choons on the soundtrack tho.

For movies about dance culture I much prefer It's All Gone Pete Tong or Groove.

I didnt think much of the soundtrack  :-\ But my tastes in dance have marinated so hard over the past 8 years pretty much the only genres I can enjoy these days are Tech House, Minimal Techno and Hardcore/Freeform.

Carl Cox is great though, saw him play a few years ago

Can you make some good minimal recommendations? I can't seem to get into that genre at all, aside from a few single songs here and there... but a lot of minimal sets I hear are just so boring and don't go anywhere.

Movie is alright.  At least you get to see some naked chicks.  Fairly accurate representation of the culture at the time as well.

yea, it's decent.  but definitely only worth renting -- wouldn't own it.
