Yes, all the way back to commander Keen. This is fuck all awesome. You can buy every single game iD has released (and a few related games) in one package for 60 bucks. And people talk shit about digital distribution.

i just tried the http://www.doomsdayhq.com sourceport of doom using the steam dl and it works, so it looks like sourceports that add mouselook (or 3d models, etc) will work with steam versions.

You can aim fine with the mouse in Doom, Heretic, Hexen, etc. You just can't look up or down with the mouse (in the original engines). The game auto-aims up or down for you, duh.

That's fucking awesome, I loved the old Keen games and DOOM I and II, and Heretic was kinda cool too. Isn't Deus Ex and one of the System Shock games on Steam too? Fucking Falcom should get their asses on Steam and translate some of their PC games.

I believe both Deus Ex games are, but no SS. That's EA and they have their own, shitty DL service (that also does not have SS).

Prey is already on there (and it is a decent game so fuck y'all. I think it is like 20 bucks which is a good price for it). I am sure 3D Realms thinks that Duke Nukem is worth more than it actually is, and won't make a deal Valve considers fair for the rights to distribute them. Take 2 has games on Steam, so Max Payne will eventually be on there. . .I'd expect them to show up whenever Max Payne 3 does.

As for the old Apogess shareware shit, some of it is availble for free on 3D Realms website. Yes, MAF, you can be playing the shareware Rise of the the Triad right now. You will need dosbox, probably.
