Malek, you should just do law school in the US. I can't believe you wasted a year since you already got in. I know friends that went to worse schools than the ones you got into, who ended up with pretty good jobs. You can also meet up with TVC for some comfort

since you're both in the dumps lately.
And that would help me how?
In Canada it's pretty much determined equally by GPA and your LSAT score. In the US they lean more towards the LSAT.
Hegel make me sag like my pants.
I though in Amerikkka they looked at such things evidently not.
Yes American law schools do, especially if you are a URM, but they really only care about your UGPA and LSAT score.
Yup. My friend got into USC's law school with like a 3.0. But he did very well on the LSAT
Yeah, law schools seem to be more forgiving than med schools. People would look at you like you're crazy for even bothering to apply to med school if you don't have at least a 3.5 GPA. It's hard even for Stanford or Harvard students to get in anywhere with a <3.3 GPA. Even an extremely good MCAT score can't make up for a low GPA. And it's much harder to score high on the MCAT than LSAT. Consistency and diligence matter a lot to med schools. Unless you're black of course.
