dang, widescreen mode is nice, but it has some of the poorest image quality of all PlayStation 2 titles ever released... there's flicker and aliasing everywhere, though on the flipside, its artwork and overall allure make it rivalize with Eternal Arms on Xbox 360 in terms of impressiveness
the "2.5D side-scrolling" way in which you breeze through villages and forests is kinda stupid IMO... Alicia is cute... the dialogue seems interesting, and it's got a VERY nice medieval ambiance... combat seems neat too
a nice mature change from all the emo-steampunk JRPG crap that fills the PS2's library
