I bought ICO for $10 yesterday. I tried to get SMT: DDS2 for $20 at Gamestop, but someone got to it before me. :'(

I picked up Marvel Ultimate Alliance (PS3) and Super Mario Strikers (GC) today. Marvel is a little disappointing. There's just something about the four-man squads that isn't clicking with me, and fighting is confusing with all the characters in the same area. I don't know if I'm going to end up playing through this game or not. :/

Super Mario Strikers was bought only cuz it was cheap...I paid 1600 yen for it, which was a steal as all the other shops around me sell it for 4000 yen or more. I figure if it sucks, I'll get my money back no problem.

It's fuckin' breathtaking, an oasis on the edge of the (Palm) desert. It's got this mile-long lazy river that you can just float all day on while drinking booze..

Buy a new PC monitor, MAF. LCD prices have come a lot in the last 2 weeks. You can get a 24 inch now for less than $500 or a good 20-22 inch for 250-300. A nice, big widescreen monitor really makes a big difference with gaming and web surfing.

Found this for 14 used at FYE. Very hard to find for some reason. Amazon doesnt even have copies.

Edit: Oh, looks like ADV milked it by re-packaging. Amazon labels it as Book of Spells Vol 2 but its the same damn episodes.

$20 for DDS2 is a steal... that goes for over $50 new in some cases on ebay (but you can probably still find it in stores)

I kinda wanna go to Vegas in October just for Vegoose Festival. Rage Against the Machine, Muse, and Queens of the Stone Age alone make it worth it. Plus it's VEGAS.

I bought it used at FYE (they wrap their used games in pastic). Besides a few hairline scratches on the case, it looks like it's in perfect condition. No scratches on the disc at all and the book looks like it hasn't been touched.

FYE stores are kinda hard to find. Do they usually have pretty good stuff? And here are some links for good prices on LCD monitors.

Newegg tends to be the cheapest but Tigerdirect has good stuff sometimes. They're even cheaper that I expected. $180-200 for a high quality 20 inch is insane. I would go with a 20 inch over a 22 inch since they have the same resolutions which means there's higher pixel density in 20 inchers. Some people think fonts are too small on 20 inchers though so you might want to check it out first. Bestbuy and Fry's have a pretty good selections for you to see which one you like best. Also check out http://www.behardware.com/html/cat/22/ They've got really great info on mons. Viewsonic, Samsung, NEC, LG, BENQ are all reliable brands.
