to exit the townscreen pick the bottom most menu item then the answer on the right

I did hit the bottom option, then it shows 3 guys, and they all blabber in moon language and that's it

I figured it out, I had to switch between all the various places and talk to the people with the exclamation points, now I'm progressing!

OMG you get a Dog on your team in this fight, and there are Classes! I can't read them, but on the screen it says Class in the corner, and characters have a "CLV" which I would guess is Class Level

It's funny, she does this scream like AIYEEEE (it's voiced) and then it shows nothing but that scene for a brief minute. Then, the dog disappears.
