Brave Story: Love her or Hate her, Yuno is one of the most useful characters

In a previous Brave Story thread I mentioned plans to get Yuno teh fuck out of my party now that Meladee was around, but it wasn't until the later areas where Yuno's paralyze special became so useful that I started to reconsider replacing her with Ropple (who rocks) or lizard guy.

The deal was sealed when she learned how to do two attacks a round, with the ability to designate who the second strike hits. Granted, if this second strike kills anyone there's a chance of a third extra strike. TEH AWESOME. Plus she gets the heal ALL ailments spell. Couple that with Meladee's heal all zed spell and youre in fer some ass kickin.

Deep Six and Triple Thrust Do rock, but paralyze is fuckin king when working with crazed monsters. Plus Meladee has crappier status removal spells. All of them are real specific.

I took on the secondary monster quest in the desert, even with a level 40-42 crew it took a lot of hits. Didnt help I wasn't using Sogreth for it tho but was too lazy to reload.

Well I liked Ropple's dialogue when he was kinda a pissy asshole magic kid, now he's all like "DEFEND THE WEAK" so I kicked him the fuck outta my party.

Im doing the Tat/Yuno/Mel combo through the game. I had to swap in Ropple for that crystal magician fuck with his physical damage barrier. I like how LITERAL the game is with the insistance that I can only really use Ropple's magic against him. I mean Tat's fuckin magic spark shit didnt even get through the barrier. GUESS WHUT THATS MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway yeah, Leynard is fuckin useless. Im actually only a high level cause I keep grinding. Im obsessed with making all my shit diagrams. I was so fuckin pissed when the reward in Morgana for killing scythe guy was another useless diagram. All I need are my stacked Bat charms. Im pretty positive the effect stacks...PRETTY sure.

I beat up the dragon/scythe guy combo last night. Thank god Meladee had Zed Heal and Yuno had that Null Status Effects for 3 Turns move or I woulda been crying. Im supposed to go fight stupid emo shithead next or something, but there's another sideboss to fight in the chapel so ill probably head there first. Most of my people are level 44 or so...well the main people. FUCK LANCE GUY HE SUX
