4 years ago, if you showed me Bioshock and told me it was by the same team that did System Shock 2, I would call you a liar, hire out a Cessna, and take a diarrhea dump on your head from 5000 feet

SS2 got ragged on for its graphics back when it came out, too. They never really bugged me, mainly because they were very clean looking, and the engine had really good lighting for its time. Going back and playing games from those years, the lack of decent lighting kills games for me more than low poly models do. A fairly clean graphical style also worked well for SS2 because of the environment the game took place in.
I'd rather have a clean-looking game than a game that grasps for graphical effects that are clearly out of its reach, like say, how fucking ugly Halo 2 looks, and how quickly it's become dated looking, due to its terrible, terrible bump-mapping. That makes it look muddy, dirty, and flawed.
Btw, if nintenho's distinguished mentally-challenged, then what is FOC?
What's FoC? He's on my ignore list, that's what he is.
