I'm not talking about Santa Claus/religion, etc lol: more along the lines of things your family or friends told you as a child, and that you believed for some odd reason.

When I was little I'd go to my grandma's for many weeks each summer. I was extremely shy as a 5 year old, and I never liked going to this particular grandma's at that age because she'd invite her old friends over to marvel at my conception. Well one day before going over there my uncle told me not to give grandma any trouble because she had a black belt in karate, and would take me out if I acted up. For some reason I believed that for years

Hell, last year I made sure to tell my smallest cousin (he's around 4) this story, and he now believes my grandma will roundhouse kick him if he runs around the house too much

I always wanted to know how vaginas worked. It made no sense to me. "Why and how can girls have a hole on their private part? That's weird. How can a penis fit in a vagina? Wouldn't that hurt. I'm glad I'm not a girl."

My friend lived in the basement of his house and he could lift the cieling tiles up and put stuff up there.

Anways, we convinced his little sister that there was a bighead man living up there who was going to get her and she would always get scared. She was old enough to know better.

Oh man, I had a british dude teach me all about the birds and the bees... he said you put it in a girls' "fanny" and I think US and UK versions of that are uh, kinda different. Thankfully, it wouldn't be another 8 years until I had sex, which gave me plenty of time to clarify.

I found out that was fake when I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and my pops was laying presents near the tree. He ran to the other room chanting HO HO HO, but it didn't work. My childhood was crushed.

I watched a lot of tv so ironically I didn't believe any weird sex myths. I used to think there were two celebrities named michael jackson because people said he was black but then the guy on tv was not (I was 5).

i never believed in santa because my brother spoiled it to me at a pretty young age
