I'm hating because I wasted 12 hours of my life watching that boring-ass show for like 15 minutes worth of plot development. The series "proper" doesn't even start until season 2 but by that point I was all, "fuck that bullshit."

It's the same reason I don't watch interminable shonen anime. I expect a certain ROI from my entertainment. Carnivale didn't deliver. AND THAT'S WHY IT GOT CANCELLED, BECAUSE IT WAS SLOW AND SUCKY AND BORING.

Deadwood was a great show, and I was pissed that he moved on to John From Cincinnati. I ended up enjoying John, but I would've preferred Deadwood.

Carnivale was cancelled because it didn't target a huge audience like some other shows, but it was fucking amazing. The fanbase sent in a shitload of tarot cards in hopes of HBO bringing the show back.

They've talked about Deadwood movies and Carnivale movies, but I seriously doubt the actors would take part in them.

Out of all the shows on HBO that were cancelled, Big Love continues? What the fuck?

eh, I'm not a big fan of it. It has nothing to do with my views on polygamy, because I would love to have those three wives.

I just thought that the show was grasping too hard for a plot that it ended up carrying the show further than it needed to go. If they could stop the entire storyline with the prophet and move on from there, I'd watch it again.
