That's what I use the Amazon wish list for.  I don't actually buy the DVDs from Amazon but I try to keep it updated so I know what I need to buy.  My list is too damn long, though, as you can see.  And stuff just keeps coming out...heck, I listed that Paul Verhoeven Collection when it was first announced and now it's out of print!  I'm never gonna catch up.  :'(

I also tend to not buy artsy/drama dvd's which your list is full of. I LOVE them and they often top my best of year lists but my central reason for buying a dvd is something I will watch over and over. And that tends to be the simple stuff. You listed Broken Flowers, a movie I LOVED one my top of 2005 yet I could never see myself buying it.

Interview With the Vampire: Best Tom Cruis movie ever:
A.I.: Don't buy this, it's so bad.
Meet Joe Black: Ditto.
Perfect World: One of my favorite Eastwood-directed movies, probably Kevin Costner's best performance.
25th Hour: Worth it just for Norton's rant about NYC in the middle of the movie.
The Beach: Worth it just for the topless French girl, she was gorgeous.
Spiderman Movies: I haven't bought any of these because I'm waiting for a massive box set special edition, like the Superman one that came out last year.
Beetlejuice: Waiting for an SE of this one before I buy it.
Advent Children: Ew.
Jurassic Park: Only worth watching for the awesome SFX, so I don't own it.
Cape Fear: Nolte/DeNiro version or Peck/Mitchum version?
Amadeus: Awesome flick.
Magnolia: Too long.
Star Wars Trilogy: Yeah, I own the SEs...and I almost bought the limited editions that came out last year until I found out the original movies were non-anamorphic.
Chasing Amy: Wait for a special edition or something, the current DVD is improperly mastered in terms of framing.
Oldboy: lol, shake loves it.
I Am Sam: Hahahaha, there was this Irish guy who worked at a Japanese high school here, and his kids told him "You look like Sean Penn."  He was happy 'cuz Sean Penn is a cool guy until they clarified "You look like Sean Penn in I AM SAM." LOLLLLLL
The Notebook: Gaaaaaaaaaay.
A Simple Plan: Cool.
Closer: They cut out the Natalie Portman nudity so I will never own this movie in protest.
Trapped In The Closet DVD's: I would buy this too, it's hilarious.
Brotherhood of the Wolf: Nice action sequences, but goes on for too long.
Irreversible: If you really want this one, I'd be willing to sell you my copy.  I bought it sight unseen and I hated, hated, hated this movie.
