In terms of graphics is looks awesome, but the animu characters take away from the visuals in the end.

If a character ever says "YATTA, GUNBARIMASHITA" (YAY I DID IT URURURURUR) in a game I instantly stop playing. Eternal Sonata lasted all of 30 seconds before that line came up

The Eternal Sonata demo is 10 kinds of shit. I don't understand why so many people on GAF are hyped for it.

1. Crappy battle system with questionable camera and hit detection.
2. Awful character designs
3. Crappy non battle camera that obscures the viewing area and makes depth perception a chore

Meh I could go on, but hopefully you're starting to get the point.

oh c'mon it's a fucking 360 JAPAFAG RPG, of course it's gonna be hyped. i'm still getting it, i think the atmosphere is top notch and i like the premise of the story. combat system is decent as well. looks like it'll be pretty easy, but i can care less. i'm more excited about E.S. than blue dragon.

I liked Eternal Sonata's battle system. The only fair complaint, is that the spawn patterns of enemies in an encounter seems limited, but I thought I heard that was fixed.

The battle system seemed pretty simplistic to me, and I hated how I'd run up to enemies thinking I was close enough to hit them and then whiff. I don't know, I'm not feeling the game at all.

Well only one of the characters was a possible wiff issue, and it wasnt that bad. I can agree with the depth argument, but I have a feeling the demo doesnt fully represent the systems possibilities. But we'll see.
