GameLand looks pretty sweet, I'll have to go there to track down a few games I can't get at GameDude. Also, I hate those money grubbers in Hollywood. Nothing is more depressing that seeing Darth Vader accept $5 from a child.

I'm not going to play this episode, but I will comment on JFG.

I played the game. The first half of it is awesome!

The second half? Not so much.

Rare burned me 3 fucking times on N64. Donkey Kong 64, JFG, and Banjo Tooie.

Fuck Rare.

Yeah, I don't think I finished DK64 or Jet Force Gemini. Rare kind of lost their mind when it came to design and platformers for awhile, but were redeemed with Conker, at least.

I believe I stopped playing DK64 only a level or two after I unlocked the final playable Kong. It just got to be far too much at that point, and that was what, 10% into the game or so?

so do I. Man, did I ever get burned bad on that shit. I'm pretty sure I've got a DK64 shirt floating around some place, and a strategy guide as well that I got for pre-ordering the game or some shit.

And I'll never understand how Rare could go from the total sploogefest that was Banjo Kazooie to the total shitfest that was Banjo Tooie. Ugh!

I bought JFG within the last couple of years. Never played it though. Same with Banjo Kazooie. Maybe I'll get around to playing those soon. N64's 10th birthday is coming up in two days.
