well will it happen?

Sadly im travelling today so i wont get it till tomorrow (along with persona 3) but i have both prepaid so it shouldnt be no thang.....

I just talked to my local Gamestop manager.

I told him I had scans of toys r us receipts selling bioshock - and asked him if me was going to lay my bioshock preorder on me when I pickup persona 3.

After a long pause he says - "I don't even have bioshock in my store"

I say - "I know you man and you are bullshitting me"

He admitted was lying and told me he just did not want to say no to me.

He told me he still doesn't have authorization to sell it.

Oh well - the dream is dead.

Not going to happen. We got an e-mail from corporate that said if they even caught wind of employees "borrowing" copies (a very common practice), there would be major repercussions (you're fired!). My store got about 30 copies in today and I quickly locked that shit up in the back.

I agree that if the wrap is broken on a game it should be at used price.

Any other store that has opened merch sells it as an "opened" price.

They either need to stop letting their store doods 'borrow' the games - or stop trying to bullshit people that they are not used copies.

I'd be REALLY careful about spoilers with this game. Knowning one key point from, say, System Shock 2 right at the start would spoil the entire first half of the game.

When I went to gamestop to get Persona 3, the guy there told me that TRU a block away was selling Bioshock.

I haul ass over there only to have them tell me that they wont be selling it until the 25th.

I tell them that thats odd because TRU is already selling it (as I produce printed pictures of TRU receipts taken from the web)

She says - "ok - the email I saw said that was a mistake and those people who sold it early will be dealt with".

I say "thats fair" and walk out empty handed

Also when I went out to get persona 3 some rude chikka crashed into my car - I then had to stand out in the 102 degree weather waiting on the officer to come do the incident report for insurance.

So pain in the ass trip + my sled getting 500-600$ in body damage = FUCK YOU 2K games!
