Like i keep saying over and over and over again, dont matter what new batman movie comes out, nothing is better then batman 1 and 2.
Michael Keaton rules , period.

Oh and btw, the new joker looks silly, this movie will be like batman beings 1, ok, but nothing great.
Will i go see this when it comes out? No
Will i buy it on DVD or VHS? Yes.

You, your wife, your rabbits, and your stupid cats need to stop taking drugs and face reality: there is no God, no one cares about your memes, and most importantly Christian Bale is the ONLY man on this earth worthy of being The Batman.

Now go peddle your fantasies elsewhere, this is a thread for real men

Don't agree.  Keaton's acting was fine but he doesn't have the physical build of Batman.  Also, he just walked around like Robocop which is not how Batman fights.  Every Batman fan knows that he relies on stealth, speed and superb fighting skills.  Tim Burton also added a lot of unnecessary silliness to the films.  Campy Batman is just not as cool as serious Batman.

It's a disgrace to my intelligence to even compare Michael Keaton to Chrstian Bale. And I actually like both Burton films, in part because I like Burton in general. But his two Batman films don't touch Batman Begins.

Christian Bale is one of the best young (he's only 33) male actors in Hollywood, and was born to be Batman. He has the physical build of The Batman, and he looks like the eligible bachelor we know Bruce Wayne is.

Plenty of places, like pawn shops for one and other places. You just have to look around man, VHS/VCR's is awesome. But dont worry, i have a dvd player, actually 2 of them. One in the living room, standard DVD, and one in me and my wife's room, DVD/VCR Combo. I use VHS for pretty much everything, but more importantly recording smallville shows. :)

:lol :lol :lol oh and about bale, well thats your opinion, nobody plays batman better then Keaton. Difference of opinion, thats all.

What do you expect from a director with no idea how to direct a fight scene?  Also, a lot of these stills are downright silly out of context.  Camp value ahoy?  I fucking hope so.

This is true.  If you look at a Batman comic from the time period, the TV Show/Movie captured the look and feel perfectly (within budgetary limits).

I dunno, most of the "definitive" Jokers (The Killing Joke, Mark Hamill esp. in Batman Beyond movie, Alex Ross) are all clean and snappy. I can't remember any who looked like Drunk-Ass Hobo Shit.

Joker is overrated anyway.  If you by comics, it's distinguished mentally-challenged that the Joker would give Batman any trouble at all since we see Batman fighting alonside Superman against galatic threats.  But I guess you could say Batman fighting Darkseid is kinda distinguished mentally-challenged too.

I agree, which is why I don't get why the same people that hate super powers also love DKR.  Batman's lack of super powers becomes a silly plot device whenever he's fighting against Supes-level enemies.  You might as well call Batman's intellect and gadgets super powers if they somehow let him win against guys that can destroy whole planets.  It's just inconsistent to have Joker as Batman's arch villain when Batman has a much easier time against guys that are not only exponentially more powerful but also more intelligent.

I'll say it again, A Joker that looks like this:

just wouldn't fit in Nolan's imagining of the Batman universe.  You can bitch and moan about how some of the shit he's doing is raping the Batman franchise and its mythos, but he couldn't give two shits.  Batman as a character has always worked the best when it's told in a semi-realistic fashion with a believable story and characters (I know, lol for me saying comic characters are *gasp* believable).  Nolan wants to make it as realistic and emotionally interesting as possible, and the audience isn't going to feel that if a Joker comes parading about on-screen looks like he was literally painted like a fucking cartoon character.

And then you can continue and tell me that the Joker SHOULD look like this because he essentially is SUPPOSED to look like that.  That that's why the Joker is so interesting in the first place.  But this is the Nolans' and Goyer's vision in how a man would somehow become this twisted, scarred and gruesome looking while still coming off as a kidder.

The Joker can work in a gritty environment, people just don't how to handle him in such an environment other than this portrayal.

The best Batman stories are from a realistic environment, IMO. That's one of the reasons I've always connected to Batman. He just seems more REAL.

I love the fucking new Joker designs, and it really fits into what I would expect from Nolan. Plus, considering his track record:

Memento - fucking great
Insomnia - decent
Batman Begins - fucking great
Prestige - pretty damn good

I honestly have nothing to worry about.
