I was unfortunately too late on the love for this show.  I would read comments at gaf and here as well saying how much they enjoyed the show, but I never really got a chance to see if those comments were valid.

I've watched the first three episodes of the first season, and I like it quite a bit.  It certainly has that CW type of feel, but it's pretty well-written and performed.  Kristen Bell is a great young talent, and I'm excited that she's getting work now after this show died.

But yeah, I realize it's extremely early, but I plan on watching the rest of the season by the end of this week.  Good stuff all around.

The first season is great, the last two. . .less so, but still really good, mainly because Kristen Bell carries the show on her motherfucking back.

If, like me, you watch the first several season 2 episodes and hate them, keep on truckin--that season's suckiness is largely confined to the first several and the last 2 episodes.  The season's creamy center is pretty fine.  Watch out, that season finale is a doozy of a baddie, though.

Season 3 is even better than 2, but they did away with season arcs in favor of 2 mini-arcs and a bunch of standalones. The season is pretty consistent, with only 1 or 2 real missteps.

Even when the show is at its worst, Kristen Bell (and her TV dad) do a damned fine job of making sure the show is pretty watchable.

Yeah, she's really great.  You know she's 27?  She still looks like she's...I don't know, 19.

But yeah, there are a few things that bug me right now, but I'm sure they'll clear up by going through more of the first season.  Mainly the weird Outsiders like shit that goes on between those Mexican motorcycle and the rich kids.  Both of the "leaders" of each group are pretty stupid and it seriously feels like they're trying to make it more of a show that CW watchers would NORMALLY tune in to.  It's no big deal, but I'm totally in love with Bell, her dad, and the whole main infestigation with her mom to really care about the mexicans, the rich kids, and duncan doofus kane.

Eh, she looks like she is in her mid-20's, I wouldn't think she was 19. She doesn't have that childish look some do. It's just that she is more cute than "hot" and that makes her seem younger.

Stop at S1. Its pretty much a perfect season of television. 2 and 3 are worth watching, but are totally inferior to 1.

Yeah, just stop at Season 1. Also, it's good that you like it after the first 3 episodes. A lot of people consider the first two episodes to be the worst of S1.
