They've censored gamebrink, kotaku, evil bore. It's petty, it's immature, and it's stupid.

Yes it is, but I guess that they censor some specific game sites that spread a lot of FUD which result in GAF threads to counter their creation. They're a very strictly moderated gaming forum read by the whole gaming industry, so I guess that makes sense in that way.

And OA linking/allusions have always been repressed since the forum's creation in early 2001. They'll censor urls that might be spammed in threads and posts (such as what Evilbore would be). It's also probably a mix of not wanting to link to adult content, forum pettyness, and to counter the coordinated attacks that these rival GAF communities might do against them.
