they actually look terrifying, and after the fat guy with rollerblades and that emo woman from mgs2, anything is an improvement imo. someone on gaf was making conections to the mgs3 bosses (first part of the name) and mgs1 (second part).

IT WAS I WHO MADE THAT STATEMENT, i think lol. i don't really know what you mean by ''first part'' and ''second part.'' anyway, i'm not gonna hate if those things are actual metal gears/robots as opposed to people being in those ''suits,'' but i don't think it's like that.

There are definitely people inside those suits.  Look at Laughing Octopus's body, that's definitely a woman wearing some freaky-ass helmet.

I dunno, I think they look pretty bizarre, but not bad.  I'd have to see them in context in the game to make any other comments, though they're not nearly as iconic-looking as Psycho Mantis or Revolver Ocelot from the original.

Raging Raven doesn't have feet, which makes me think it's a robot also.  Mantis and Octopus could be people.

Regardless, going from appearance alone, they look cold and lifeless.

It seems those guys are "Metal Gears" *sighs*

What´s the point in giving the name MG to everything anyway.   They called the submarine-fortress in MGS2 Arsenal Gear, even though its not a robot.  So dumb.
