Pretty much agree with the assessment.
On the plus side, there's Duchovny, production values, and boobs boobs boobs.
On the minus side, it's a really badly written TV show, and almost every scene was a cliche.
There's a slim chance that it could develop into something good if the show pulls a House, where they figure out a formula that works and Duchovny's character turns super-entertaining, but I doubt it will happen. The restaurant speech stereotyping his date was his big moment, and it fell flat.
