Why not both?  Just get a splitter.  If not, then 360 obviously.  Games before movies just like bros b4 hos.

Which Hd-dvd player do you own?  Does it have analog output for each sound channel?

I've got the Toshiba AD-A20.  No single channel output.  It's got optical and HDMI.
